Chief Officers

Bill LeMonds

Fire Chief

I joined Castle Rock Fire Department when I was 18 and still attending high school. The fire department has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember and I became the full time Chief May of 2015.

With 30 years as a volunteer, I believe that I bring a unique prospective to the position. I can relate to the volunteers having to balance their job that pays the bills, their hobby (the fire service) and their family. Luckily, I have an understanding wife of over 30 years, Pam, which knows the time that it takes to run a successful Fire/EMS Department. I have 2 grown children, Sam and Hannah, who have grown up in the fire department family and who have volunteered countless hours of their time to department events. In my “spare” time I enjoy camping, NASCAR, spending time at the coast and hanging with friends and family.

Andy Ogden

Assistant Fire Chief

Assistant Chief Andy Ogden has been an active member of CCFD6 since 2002. Andy joined at the age of 20 and has contributed an unprecedented amount of time to this department and community. Andy’s biggest project for CCFD6 has been the construction of tender 62, spearheaded by Andy and his father, Ken Ogden. Currently Andy is in the role of Assistant Chief and has been critical in future planning of the department.

In the little amount of free time Andy has, he enjoys cooking amazing dinners for his fire department family, hunting, and hanging out with his neice and nephew.
