CHIEF OFFICERS

Name
Bill LeMonds

Job title
Chief

I joined Castle Rock Fire Department when I was 18 and still attending high school. The fire department has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My son is the fourth generation of the LeMonds’ to be a member of our fine department. I became the full time Chief May of 2015. With 30 years as a volunteer, I believe that I bring a unique prospective to the position. I can relate to the volunteers having to balance their job that pays the bills, their hobby (the fire service) and their family. Luckily, I have an understanding wife of over 30 years, Pam, which knows the time that it takes to run a successful Fire/EMS Department. I have 2 grown children, Sam and Hannah, which are both employed with the Castle Rock School District. In my “spare” time I enjoy camping, NASCAR, spending time at the coast and hanging with friends and family.
